Self Catering Rules
Arrival
On arrival each adult 16 years or over must present a copy of their passport or identity card and completed and signed the registration forms
The property will be ready for your arrival from 4pm on arrival day Please call approx 15 minutes before arrival so we can be there to meet you
The property will have been cleaned and prepared for your use. We do not provide housekeeping services during your stay (unless requested and paid for) and we do not enter the property unless it is to affect repairs or provide a change of linen.
We expect all guests to keep the property in a clean and tidy condition during their stay and to do a full departure clean before leaving
If you have hired linen and towels, the beds will have been made according to the number in your party and towels placed in the bathrooms. If your booking is for two weeks or more, a second set of bedding will be delivered half way through your stay.
Upon departure, could you please put the used linen in the linen bags provided
We understand that items get broken from time to time. Please report any damages as soon as you can and fill in the damage form provided so we can affect repairs or replacements before the next guests arrive
The cost of any damage caused by your party will be deducted from the security deposit or paid direct on request
Electricity
You have to prepay an amount of 100€ for electricity on arrival. Electricity is charged at 0.24€ per unit and a meter reading has been taken shortly before your arrival. Another reading will be taken on leaving day, and if the amount of electricity consumed is considerably more than the prepaid 100€, the balance will be chargeable and deducted from your security deposit. No refund of the prepayment amount will be made
Pool Rules
There is only one, No Glass in the pool area. Please use plastic beakers, glasses etc and keep all glass bottles (including beer and wine bottles) outside the wall. This is for your safety, If glass gets in the pool it is invisible and we have to drain the pool to clear it
Departure
On leaving day, you are expected to leave the house and garden in a good clean condition
House
Please clean the kitchen and make sure the dishwasher has been emptied, all pots and pans, cutlery etc has been washed and put back and the fridge emptied and wiped out
Remove all rubbish from the house and empty all the waste bins in the bedrooms
Please strip the sheets from the beds and leave them for us to collect
Please leave the bathroom and toilet in a clean condition and put the towels with the sheets
All floors should be swept and mopped, worktops wiped down and any carpets vacuumed
Please make sure there is nothing left in the washing machine
Garden and drive
Please clear the patio of any rubbish and clean the table
Remove all rubbish from the garden area, and empty the ashtrays
Remember to empty the garden fridge and wipe through
Finally, make sure you have collected all your belongings from the garden and house, checking wardrobes and under beds!
Please note that the property is not a tourist structure such as a hotel but is a private dwelling. Indeed it reflects the architecture and furnishings and the personal taste of the owners. We cannot exclude the possibility that these differences can sometimes result in minor inconveniences or the lack of specific facilities due to the special nature of the property but we cannot accept these as complaints
