Summary: We had a really memorable stay at this hotel, which provided the charm of a traditional cave experience. The room was fabulous and look exactly like in the pictures, it was full of character and quirky with beautiful artwork at every corner. We were greeted with a bottle of ouzo and biscuits and by the adorable cat of the owner, who adopted us during our stay - a real highlight of our holiday! Everything was very clean and the owner friendly and happy to help, and the location ideal with a short walk to busy Oia - only things that could have been better was the bed which was a bit small, and the fact the shower ended up flooding the bathroom (but we were told it would happen!) I would highly recommend the place, and we found it ideal to be based in a traditional village very close to Oia to get the best of both worlds - just important to be mindful of the fact there are many steps and uneven surfaces to reach the hotel/rooms so it may not be suitable to guests who are elderly or with mobility difficulties.
