Summary: The hotel was beautiful as always and the room was incredible. However a lot has changed from the last time I stayed here and it came with a lot of confusion trying to get answers which left me a little dissatisfied. The first being that for birthdays, the hotel is able to send up balloons and chocolate covered strawberries. This time they said I needed to make a request 24hrs in advance and since I was staying only 1 night I didn’t have time. I picked this resort because of the nice things they do for people’s birthday and plus I did send a email saying it was my mom’s birthday. However the person I spoke with over the phone said yall didn’t have access to the frontdesk@jwmarriot email address and we were only able to receive some balloons. Which was very disappointing because the reason I picked this resort again as her one night staycation is because of how beautiful the resort is and the special things yall do for people’s birthdays. So it was a big let down. The second confusing thing was the rules for the driving rage. Usually the driving rage is complimentary with cubs and they allowed you to take a golf cart to the drive. We were even allow to go look around the golf course. The man sitting in the golf building when I was trying to get answers just argued me down that that never was a thing and that he’s been working there for 13 years and made it seem like I was lying about it. He was actually kinda rude and dismissive.
