The Space:
Villa Daya is the perfect basecamp to explore the island of Puerto Rico. It is ideal for a family or group of friends. The villa is located within Palmas del Mar Resort and offers 1,800 square feet of construction, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a terrace overlooking the lake, gas grill, and a private rooftop with social seating. You’ll love the spacious layout, top-notch furnishings, and multiple social areas this villa offers. Villa Daya comfortably sleeps 6.

WE HAVE TO REPLACE OUR BROKEN BATHTUB, WHICH REQUIRES A CONTRACTOR'S ASSISTANCE IN REMODELING THE ENTIRE BATHROOM. DUE TO THIS, YOU WILL FIND ITS DOOR LOCKED. PLEASE TAKE THIS NOTE INTO CONSIDERATION BEFORE BOOKING WITH US.***
LIVING AREAS
The main level has an open concept layout that connects the dining room, living room, kitchen, and terrace. The kitchen has granite countertops and a center island so that whoever is cooking is always part of the group. The dining table comfortably sits six and overlooks the terrace and views of the resort. The terrace has a two person sofa, gas grill, and a spiral staircase to the private rooftop. Enter the rooftop and you are greeted with a dining table, sofa, and a hammock. From here you can enjoy the trade winds and Caribbean sun while you relax with friends and family.
There is also a washer and dryer in the hallway.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The master bedroom has 1 king bed with a flat-screen TV, large walk-in closet, private bathroom, and resort views. The 2nd bedroom has 1 queen bed with a full closet. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds and a full closet. All bedrooms are appointed with top-notch furnishing and resort-quality linens. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share a full bathroom.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):
We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
Villa Daya offers a beautiful and spacious kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a center island with electric stovetop and oven, and all the cooking accessories you need for an extended stay. You’ll love how the cook is always part of the group. There is also a convenient window to the terrace you can use to send appetizers and drinks up to the rooftop.
GETTING AROUND & PARKING
The property includes two (2) parking spots for cars and one (1) additional small parking spot in case you decide to rent a golf cart.
You will need a car to move around in and out of the resort. Also, Uber is not readily available in the area, which is why it's important to have your own means of transportation.
If looking to rent a golf cart so you can have direct access to the beach, we can provide the number of the rental companies on-site.
LOCATION
Villa Daya is located within the largest resort community in Puerto Rico, Palmas del Mar. Palmas del Mar offers a wonderful mile-long beach, multiple dining options, marina, tennis, and golf – among other offerings. The resort has miles and miles of running and cycling trails. There is also a community pool a 1-minute walk from the property.
The list of activities to do in Palmas is virtually endless, but here are some of our favorites:
Golf at one of Palmas del Mar’s two 18-hole Golf Courses. Tee times can be booked directly with the Palmas del Mar Athletic Club.
Tennis at the Palmas del Mar Athletic Club with 20 courts that include artificial grass, Har-Tru Clay, and hard courts.
Lunch or dinner at “La Pescaderia,” an oceanfront restaurant by the marina with some of the best seafood on the island.
Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.

STARTER AMENITIES
At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.
All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
- A small amount of laundry detergent
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 6 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.
Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
