Positive: The location of the villa is beautiful, with a view of the sea and a lovely pool. The villa is spacious and was clean (though not spotless). Plenty of towels and clean linen. The view from the balcony off the master bedroom was amazing, with mountains across to the beaches and sea. The area is quiet and peaceful (apart from two yappy dogs next door occasionally! But not annoying).

Negative: Cannot recommend this property to anyone looking to rent it in the summer due to the absence of working air conditioning. The heat is unbearable, especially in the evening when the lights need to be on, so the windows cannot be open due to the mosquitos. 2 days before travelling we discovered other reviews stating that the air con doesn't work, which were posted after we booked the holiday. The property photos show an air con unit, but nowhere does it state that this does not work, which is misleading. We asked to cancel the booking as I was concerned about the health of one of our party, but Interhome refused. The local office refused to source a portable air con unit, even though I offered to pay for it. It spoiled an otherwise lovely holiday. We left a day early to go to a hotel as none of us could bear it any longer. It was also aggravated by the en-suite shower, which had a head which spewed water out the back, fell out of the bracket onto your head and the water temperature was uncontrollable, either cold (which was appreciated most of the time) or without warning became dangerously hot. You expect more for over £2500 for 1 week.

Summary: A great holiday SPOILED by non-functional air conditioning, unresponsive staff and poor maintenance
