Our condo is in a gated community with 24 hour security and a full time management staff. Common spaces, which guests can use during their stay, includes a gym, laundromat, kids playroom and best of all private beach access to Luquillo Beach. Plus, we have a parking space available to guests during their stay.
The apartment itself is located in the on the 19th floor. It's a large corner studio with floor to ceiling doors installed to take advantage of the amazing view. Truly the ocean is your neighbor!
Inside there is a large walk in closet, kitchen, and a spacious balcony. The queen-sized bed fits two comfortably. Plus there is a queen-sized air mattress available for a party of four. WiFi and cable is also included. In addition to basic cable, we have a smartTV, so you can watch Netflix or Amazon Prime (you need your own account). We provide the essentials (i.e. sheets, towels, soap, toothpaste, etc.), but you'll have to bring any extras. Many guests have left behind their 'extras' such as sunscreen, lotion, bug spray, etc. so feel free to use these items as well. Our newest addition is a portable A/C unit! Last summer some guests recommended an A/C unit during the summer months due to the humidity. The A/C unit will be available May 1st - August 31st.
Last but not least is location! From Old San Juan to Luquillo it's about a 30-40 minute drive (depending on traffic). El Yunque Rain Forest is 10 mins away. Fajardo (think Bio Bay) is 15 mins way. Ceiba, the new port town to travel in and out of Culebra and Vieques, is about 20-30 mins away.

Summary: I absolutely loved our host. She was knowledgeable, pleasant, and super responsive. The area was a little dicey; did not walk without my husband. The property was, as somebody explained, in a war of new president vs old president. The pool was not able to be used, and it smelled of cat urine.
