Charming gîte for 4 people, in the lovely town of Mirepoix ( medieval town centre) with all his bars and restaurants. Walking distance from the town centre (5 mins walk) and supermarket (1 minute walk), no need to take the car! Plenty to explore in the area, close to the Pyrenees, local lakes, Carcassonne and Toulouse ( airports), as well as Foix, Andorra, Spain….
South of France weather obviously, Mirepoix hosts a big market every Monday as well a festival every second weekend during the summer.
The flat has an outside terrace and a 5x10 m salt pool.
Please note : Despite our best efforts to raise awareness about the need to save water (we do go through periods of water restrictions), we have had to remove the washing machine as previous guests, on several occasions, were using it twice a day. Our local supermarket however, a minute walk away, provides this facility.
