A 30-min drive from the SJU airport, this property is located inside a secluded and private apartment complex in Loíza, Puerto Rico. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing vacation or to have Zoom meetings with the Atlantic Ocean as the background. A 5-night minimum stay will give you enough time to enjoy the beach, take a dip in the pool, work (if you have to), use the grill, watch movies and unwind in a quiet environment.
Note: A rental car is essential to get here and move around the area.
The space
This 2-level penthouse with stunning views to the Atlantic Ocean is the perfect place for rest and relaxation. The apartment’s first floor is beautifully decorated with tropical colors and wooden furniture, and includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, dining and living room. Going up the spiral stairs to the second floor, you will find a small studio apartment with a kitchen (no stove), dining area, bathroom, TV and a futton. Glass doors will take you to an outdoor terrace with views to the ocean and the mountains of El Yunque.
This is a spacious and comfortable apartment for 6. We may accept up to 8 guests by special request. Other amenities include A/C units, smart TVs, WiFi, basic cable, washer & dryer, BBQ grill, beach chairs and outdoor shower.
NO pets, smoking/vaping, parties or loud music allowed in this property.
Guest access
The best way to get here and move around the island is by renting a car. Public transportation is not available and taxis/Uber require advanced coordination. There are two parking spaces assigned to the property, very close to the apartment building.
Check-in is contact-free and guests will enter the property using codes and keys (information provided right before arrival). Climbing stairs is necessary to access the apartment and there’s no elevator available.
Other things to note
1. The area around the apartment complex is mainly residential, but it is a short drive from the community of Piñones, a very popular part of Loíza and known for its local restaurants and nightlife. There are also many restaurants and attractions to explore in the nearby towns of Carolina, Rio Grande, Luquillo, and Fajardo.
2. Puerto Rico's power grid is still a work in progress, especially since Hurricane Maria. This could result in power outages, unstable internet service, or lack of water service during your stay. Cell phone service could also be spotty in certain areas of the island. While we strive to provide the best service to our guests, some things may be beyond our control, so please keep this in mind when traveling to our beautiful island. Hurricane peak season is between August and November.
